Inspired Thoughts

I love Ali Edwards. She is a scrapper I have been following for many years. Even when I am not in a scrapbooking phase, I still go to her blog and read. Her pictures and words draw me to her blog time and time again.
Recently she has been posting Thankful Thoughts. In the post, she includes photo overlays for FREEEEE! I love free. I downloaded two of the overlays and actually used them. Which**drumroll** leads to this post. Thoughts are out of time order. Yet if you know me, it shouldn't be a surprise.

Sofia has grown so much since Spring Break. Sofia has 6 teeth total- four on the top and two on the bottom. I have had to start cleaning them. Luckily, Sofia is a good sport about the whole procedure. I have also checked off another big milestone- Sofia is standing on her own! She is getting pretty good at it, too. Of course, the Little Bit needs to pull up on something to get into the standing position. Once she is there, she bounces and claps. After about 30 seconds, she falls down. Sofia also recognizes bath time and loves to crawl quickly to the tub. Now the poor thing thinks anytime she sees us or hears water running from that bathroom it is time for her to get in the tub and starts crawling quickly to the tub. This all makes me sad because she is growing up so fast right in front of my eyes and I know I have no control over it.

Today we went to take pictures in the Bluebonnets. There has been a big drought where we went so the pretty little things were not in full force. I have a feeling there may not be very many Bluebonnets this year. We were lucky and found a spot that would be okay for pictures. We took lots of pictures of Sofia that I will post later this week. We also set the camera on the stroller and took a couple of family pictures. I am thankful for their ability to put up with the crazy half Asian photo lovin' wife and mom they live with.

This past weekend, I watched Sofia and Christian play before bedtime on Saturday night. I was able to capture several sweet moments between the two with my friend, Nikon. He is a wonderful and caring father. He really tries to help me the best way he knows how. It may not always be the way I would do it or when I want it, but who am I to complain?
